Our Scholarship Fund

"Support" by artist Lorenzo Quinn (son of actor Antony Quinn) hugs the 14th century walls of Venice’s Ca’Sagredo Hotel.
The pair of 5,000-pound white hands appear to prop up the historic hotel from falling into the water, symbolizing the threat that climate change has on history, but also the power that mankind has to stop it.
The sculptor intentionally based the shape of the hands after his children, to show the innocence, and power, of the next generation.

Students Love Travel offers a scholarship program for students and school groups with a financial need. The program is funded by cash contributions from parents, teachers, and alumni with matching funds contributed by Students Love Travel.

Scholarships may be awarded to individual students, or to whole groups. Awards to individuals are based on financial need, as well as demonstrated interest in the purposes of the trip. Awards to groups are based on student organized fundraising activities, with the amount of the award matching the amount raised by the students.

A request to participate in the scholarship program must be initiated by the teacher organizing the trip, whether for an individual award or for a group award.
All requests should be submitted to Students Love Travel by October 31st for travel the following calendar year. Awards will be determined by the Scholarship Awards Committee and communicated to receipients by November 30th.
