Quebec City: Winter Adventure

Print

Old Quebec City is one of the few historical areas in North America to have fully preserved its Francophone culture. It's European feel, history, culture and warmth have made it a favorite destination for French students.
This program will give your students a taste of France, reinforce their knowledge of early North American history, provide them with opportunity to hone their French language skills, and take them home with memories of a lifetime.

Itinerary

This itinerary puts a winter spin on our classic Quebec City trip.
We'll explore Old Quebec - the historic district of the city - which feels like an old European city with its narrow cobbled streets, historical buildings, universities, convents and churches, plazas and parks, shops and restaurants. It's a pleasure to explore on foot.
We'll also head outside Québec City to tour the stunning Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, marvel at the Montmorency Falls from its observation decks and the suspension bridge that spans the Montmorency, take a guided tour through the ephemeral Hôtel de Glace, dog-sled in the woods outside Quebec, enjoy an evening at a Sugar Shack, and a visit to Valcartier with its wide range of snow tubing runs including the Tornado, Everest, and Himalaya.
