Marilyn grew up in a small town in New Hampshire. Her love for traveling and appreciation for different cultures began when she visited a tribe in the rainforest of Panama as a high school student. This culturally enriching program has led her to earn her degree in Spanish with a minor in Social Work in 2012 at the University of New Hampshire. She continued on through the honors program at UNH to earn her M.Ed. in 2013. Marilyn spent half of her junior year in college studying at the University of Granada, Spain and traveling throughout Europe. She has help lead trips with various groups to Costa Rica, Spain, Germany, Austria, Poland, Quebec, and France. Her goal is to reach 30 countries by age 30 and she is only about 2 countries shy with a few more years to go. Wanderlust is something Marilyn will never lack. Always ready to pack a bag and explore, she is excited for any adventure.
